...yet was done in his brother's name and thus meant death for his brother instead.

I have a difficult time construing anything Kong Rong did as something other than trolling.

Brother, Rong and mother all tried to take responsibility for it. I suspect killing the child might have been a tad controversial so not surprised Rong wasn't chosen as the one to die

If it was, we wouldn't have a 52 page thread :wink:

I'm guessing betraying Wei is the reason but why does that make them the biggest traitors for you?

I would most definitely say that Lu Bu was the greatest traitor (bare in mind that he killed all three of his 'fathers' for his own good).

In the novel it is Ding Yuan and Dong, I don't think he kills a third father even there.

Because I think the Simas (starting from Sima Yi) are Wei supporters for a very long time. Their betrayal create a new dynasty that made, not just Wei, but the other kingdoms also perished.
