Of course there are many loyal generals, but I'm going to choose Gao Shun and Zhang Ren.

Wenchang did no such thing.

Shu: Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Wei Yan, & Sun Qian

Wei: The Xiahou Brothers, Cao Ren, Xu Zhu, Dian Wei, Zhang Liao, Guo Jia, & Xun Yu

Wu: Gan Ning, Zhou Tai, & Cheng Pu

Other: Wen Chou, Shen Pei, Chen Gong( ) & Li Ru
Zhao Yun, the best general for any ruler, but everyone has to die just as they live, even the heroes.....

??? I was talking about when he wanted to fight on his own, without obeying orders from Shu after Kongming died. Maybe this was only in the SGYY...?

I'm confused. I thought he did rebel.

InSGZ all he wanted to do was keep fighitng Wei. Yang Yi never told him his orders. You can find Wei Yan's SGZ here: http://www.3kingdoms.net/forum/showthre ... genumber=1

Whether or not Wei Yan disobeyed orders is open to debate, but its a stretch to say that he rebelled and Yang Yi certainly didn't have the authority to kill him...

I would say Zhou Yu, Cheng Pu and Han Dang for Wu, Cao Ren, Cao Hong and Xiahou Dun for Wei and Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Zhuge Liang for Shu as being the most loyal. Although there are meny more who were always loyal.

Yang Yi did not have the authority to order Wei Yan around. And Kongming said nothing TO Wenchang, he just told others what to do with him. And Yang Yi only sent Fei Yi to discover his intentions not to give orders, Wei Yan said he didn't have to obey Yang Yi, NOT Zhuge Liang. That is proof that he did not disobey Zhuge Liang, because Yang Yi didn't tell what Kongming said.
