'Soaring' above you all.

Well the avatar had wings anyway and I felt like being above the crowd for awhile.

Castle Bouillon, Count Godfrey de Bouillon's ancestral home. I hope I can visit there someday, why I chose it as my location is due to the fact I am named after the Duke, and I usual want to set off on a Crusade, so where better to plan that adventure than the great Castle?

My location is "In the Arms of the Angel", from Sarah McLachlan's Angel, one of my favorite songs. It describes where I am at in life right now: I feel blessed in nearly every aspect of my life, and furthermore at the end of each day I will have an opportunity to be in the arms of the woman I love, who is like an angel to me. It's an image of both power and grace.

"Ronin Village" is one of the best levels in Tenchu. Mostly because the whole level is crawling with samurai and that they can spot you easier than the normal enemy peon. Harder to make stealth kills... plus my avatar is of Jinnai, samurai boss and the Tenchu story says he basically controls the Ronin Village area with an iron fist.

After the Christmas Vacation, I will revert bact to my original avatar and the location will revert to: "Purgatory...Damn, it really is hot in here..." I'm right now in the River of Flame for Diablo II:LOD, Nightmare mode.(Yeah! Gonna beat Diablo again!!!) and it looks very much like Purgatory. I mean, it's a river of pure molten magma!

From Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky":

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
did gyre and gimble in the wabe.
All mimsy were the borogroves,
and the mome raths outgrabe.

I'm a slithy tove at heart...

Oh! I just realized that you all meant the location under our avatars!

Well, mine is from the game, the greatest game, I might add, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. "A place of empty souls and fevered thoughts" is what one of the characters, Maximillian Roivas, refers the asylum that he is locked in as. Here's that special little quote in its entirety. I know this one, among others from this game, by heart:

"I tried... I tried to tell them... but they didn't believe me. Damn them! Damn there eyes! They didn't believe me. Strange creatures. The world in peril from unseen foes. The death! The Darkness! Instead they jeered and threw me in this foresaken place; a place of empty souls and fevered thoughts, reeking of faetor and decay. Thinking me mad with delirium. The fools cast away their hopes of salvation by locking me in this damned asylum! May the rats eat your eyes! I am now lost to your cause! The Darkness comes! It will damn us all!!!"

Good times... so, yeah. My location is an asylum.
