What do you hate?

I have recently come to the realization that I am incredibly picky about story endings. I realize that they are subjective, but I hate ones that don't seem to fit or that give me mixed feelings abut a series, even if only for a little while before I adjust to and accept that ending as appropriate. I think they can really effect the overall experience of that story. When I was little I was pretty flexible about ending and able to mentally divide stories into the parts I liked and the parts I didn't, and I'm trying to get back to that point, but it's tough.

Agh, just writing this post is giving me flashbacks to endings I hated.

Yeah, bad endings can kill the whole thing (the half-hour denouement to The Return of the King comes to mind). It's like getting a bad grade at the end at the quarter or waking up in a bathtub with kidneys missing-no one cares about how great a time they were having.

And though I'm a loyal citizen of the People's Republic of Seattle myself, I go to UW, so I think I'm learning to hate most liberals myself. I always joke about how I finally know how Republicans feel. Feels bad, man.

I hate bomb threats. All 26 and counting. The craven, cowardly bastard who's been sending these emails and texts through connexions in Europe will be facing an angry mob once caught, I have little doubt. And these ignorant shysters who think world history began in 1945 and to whom opinions from inside the Beltway and only from inside the Beltway are revealed gospel Truth. And CNN, whose commentary invariably includes partizan hacks from both sides spewing party-line talking points past each other rather than actual information from people who know what they're talking about.

Such would be an understandable hatred, then, if even half my mother's horror stories are true.

I hate hip hop music and cheese... . I also don't like power hungry people like Dong Zhuo or people who can't keep promises. I hate politics, people that work in high political offices, because they don't really do much anyway... . A world with one rule would work just fine. "Live your life like you want, but don't harm others in anyway with it."

I hate doctors...

Its a great personal matter within that hatred, but also a phylosophical matter. It is good to have doctors that can help us, but sometimes I wonder... They length our lives, but also our pain... Many choose to help people, but even more choose this way for the money... They create new medicine so we can be healed, but it also weakens and corrupts us... ... .
