I got interested after watching San Guo Zhi anime,or as some call it Great Conquests. Also, because of the Taiwanese game-San Guo Yan Yi..sigh,fun game.

The enthralling experience of Dynasty Warriors 2, combined with a few Asian friends with a good knowledge of the Three Kingdoms. After that, I was a lost case  .

I think I saw an advert on the back of the Kessen manual for DW3 so I got it and became hooked and read up on the history

What actually got me into the world of rotk was the expansion for the Magic: the Gathering card game called Portal: Three Kingdoms when i bought the "Wei Kingdom" theme deck.

But that was years ago, and only a beginning, Dynasty Warriors 4 really got me hooked into rotk, and ever since then i've been writing on these forums lol.

I can't choose between the novel and the Dynasty Warriors series so maybe both.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a very popular and well known story in Korea. When I was young my parents had bought me a shorter version of ROTK in comic.
