I actually got into the History and games and what not, through my natural love of War, mainly ancient/medieval....so I was hooked as soon as I heard the words, Strategy, Generals, etc. Basically Im hooked on all war, although newer war like WW1 or 2 doesnt peak much interest...it seems, well bland..

Did you know there's a game about the manga too? :D

I know. Though it's in Japanese (or chinese, methinks).

Either way I can't read it. And the art in the game isn't drawn by Yamahara Yoshito. They look kinda crappier if ye ask me.

I came to know about rtk when I first play Koei's rtk1. Yeah, that's an ancient game...now you know how ancient I am...following that, I began to read my first picture SGYY. It's only after a couple of years later that I finally began to read the proper SGYY. But a few more years later, I got hold of a cursed book that had SGZ annotations and the first thing I do was to flip into the chapter about Zhao Yun. That blew my impression of Zhao Yun forever (I felt cheated) and I distanced myself from SGYY novel for a long long time...and some long years later, I finally began to pick up SGYY and then only recently that I began to read SGZ properly, though I'll never finish it in the near future. Ever since I've touched SGZ, SGYY is no longer my pet anymore... :?

I got into it from the rtk series of games, but it was Destiny of an Emperor that gave me interest in the rtk series. RTK2 looked lame until I saw the name Liu Bei.

First addict: Dynasty Warriors 3
Next step: ROTK 7, Dynasty Tactics, Kessen 2
Further step: Joined this forum, read Ryuroden
Final step: Finally got a chance to read the novel

And that's how I become addicted with the Three Kingdoms.
NOTE: I didn't include DW4/SSM3 because when I bought it, I'm already addicted to ROTK. :P

I got in to RTK because of many reasons. The games, TV, books, and mainly because I'm Chinese!

Just asking, how many of you are chinese or have a chinese background?
