I just reached the bottom of RoTK decadence. I just got a little cat (a tonkinese) and, since he was a little terror the first days we had him, I decided to call him Cao Cao.

This is usually a sign that I have to much free time...

It does look really cool. But im not so sure WHAT kind of Painted Turtle it is...Because the picture of the Eastern one has a yellow spot on opposite sides of his head, but this one has an orange one. I dunno. But i did find out that these guys can live about 20-30 years in the wild, and 20+ years in captivity. Im guessing this one is around 3-5 years, maybe more, maybe less.

this response is coming a little late, but I thought I'd mention that the yellow/orange thing is probably just a vitamin issue. If the photo of the one with yellow marks was from a captive individual, it's entirely possible that the turtle in question hadn't been getting enough Vitamin A. Usually it's not a big deal - even if the pigment starts to lose the orange color they can still be getting enough to survive. But Eastern Box or Painted turtles generally retain a vibrant orange color on their head markings, as well as on the sort of plate/spike thingies on the fronts of their legs, again due to high amounts of vitamin A.

I assume it just popped out of a Pokeball one day, yeah?

Well, I have a 7 year old cat called Henry...who needs to go on a diet pretty soon. :P

I quite like snakes too, but I doubt my parents would ever agree to me having one while I'm living with them.

I had this little lonely male hamster, campbell breed that I called Shirou... however my little sister objected me for calling him Shirou since she fancied Shirou Kamui from X clamp anime... I overuled her however...
