Well, before RTK6, Sun Ce was only alive in one scenario. But you're right, I don't play as him in the Fight for He Bei scenario where he has 6 cities to start. Cao Cao just usually has too many advantages for me to want to play him, even in Scenario 2 when he only has one city he borders on Xu Chang and is one of the more powerful single-city rulers. That's just my personal taste though.

In later scenarios, I play as a created ruler, again because of the "start with a single city" thing. That, and you won't catch me dead playing as Liu Chan.

Sun Jian. I usually take control of Chang Jiang first, kill Liu Biao, get his officers and teritory, then move east into Jiang Dong by getting rid of all the puny lords there. I usually end up killing Cao Cao and making Liu Bei surrender, which I don't mind. *hits Liu Bei with his whip*

I like to play Ma Teng from RTK2. In scenario 1......

*crickets*

In 4 I like to play as Sun Jian, because I think he looks neato-mosquito!

I think your talking about Sun Ce. Sun Jian is not alive in Scenario 4.

Sun Quan has my vote, he starts with some of my favorite generals like Zhou Yu, Lu Meng, and Gan Ning. other than that i play a created ruler.

You used to play with Ma Teng all the time when we chose smaller rulers too. I thought Ma Chao and Ma Dai were among your favorites (in addition to Wu, that is).

Ma Chao is of course one of my favorite generals, and Ma Dai i have many fond memories of our final battles when we were trying to conqure China at the end of the game. But Sun Quan was always a bit more of a challenge because he was closer to the enemies i took pleasure out of defeating.

I like using Liu Bei most, since it is extremely useful for recruiting Shu officers. Not to mention getting Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, Huang Zhong, Pang Tong, Xu Shu and Zhuge Liang...etc.

Actually, I prefer using Liu Bei for the earlier scenarios, since I can gain control of the Northern Region early in the game, rather than a difficult to defend base like Jing Zhou.

Heh, like Liu Biao and Liu Zheng? Those two just ask to be conquered.

I usually use a created officer, but when I don't I use Liu Bei...'cause he's just so benevolent 8-)
