Koei just uploaded the Trailer for what is to be Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 on their YouTube Channel. I can't make much sense of it because I can't understand a word of Japanese. But here it is anyway.

Things I noted in the trailer:

0:35: Jiaozhi will not be in the game. Which means that Shi Xie (and family) probably won't be either.
0:43: At least *some* buildings will be buildable outside of cities. With a bit of luck, it's not just fortresses.
1:00: Battles will be realtime (with pause, hopefully), not turn-based.
1:14: They never did see Fornadan's updated maps (or didn't bother to use them); the Yellow River didn't jut out in 189 the way it does in 2015, and it's the wrong geography to be a different river.
1:50: They have yet to announce a PC or Wii U version. You should do so, Koei!
Unless I specifically say otherwise, assume I am talking about historical Three Kingdoms, and not the novel.

And they have announced a PC version on the San13 HP?

I'm just going by what the trailer said; it showed china without Jiaozhi, and it only mentioned PS3 and PS4.

Yeah, and the HP says it will be released for PC and the screenshots show cities in the Jiaozhi area on the map belonging to some force. The image of the map you're refering to in the trailer is from RTK 12.

EDIT: The trailer was made for the SCEJA, that's why there's no reference to the PC release. The SCEJA page also mentions an English localization.

Please say this means what I think it means? The UK will be getting this on PS4?
Have a question about a book or academic article before you buy it? Maybe I have it!

I think it does, unless "EN" means something entirely different. :D

What I'm wondering about is if there will be an English PC version

(it seems so)

Looks like NA14 but RTK-fied.

Am I the only one troubled by Pang Tong looks? I mean, the guy was so ugly that he couldn't get a job, but he's portrayed quite sympathetically, charming ... definitely not displeasing as he should be (making his skin a bit darker than others isn't enough — nor very sympathetic on koei's part  ).

I understand and find it okay they portraying many guys as handsome to please the fan clubs (despite the fact it should be reserved to few like Zhou Yu, not mr. Dumbo Liu Bei), but guys like Pang Tong are supposed to be ugly and by making him look good they detract from the player's experience who could feel the displeasure that Sun Quan did otherwise (facing the same dilemma).
