The only change I'd make in ports would be the size if possible, but then how to make bigger gates? Nah, it wouldn't work. I'd like adding elephants, rifles, skills, items with better bonuses (like in previous rotks), and adding cities. But that would be making a new game ... new skills are improvement enough if accomplished :)

I'm guessing this alters the main exe file or something rather than the scenario files, yeah?

I'm almost sure this will never happen, that's because editing the exe is complicated, the scenario file doesn't hold relevant info (I suppose it would be near the descriptions) and the solution we see coming from ali213 is hexediting the memory allocated by the program (very similar to do, but is temporary, which means changes must be applied every time you start your game).

I said bullshit earlier, these are the versions:
Chinese PK 1.1 (2006) = Not that compatible to Vista, but accepts Sire codes.
Chinese PK 1.2 (2009) = Latest, better Vista experience, but no Sire codes.
Chinese without PK is the same thing (1.1 x 1.2)

Japanese PK 1.1.0 (2006) = Very likely to work with Sire.
Japanese PK 1.1.1 (2007) = Latest, may work with Sire too as is somewhat old too (who knows).
Japanese without PK:
Japanese 1.1.0 (2006) = Very likely to work with Sire.
Japanese 1.3.3 (2007) = Latest, may work with Sire too as is somewhat old too (who knows).

I've updated mine to 1.1.1, but as I said before it's easy rolling back (it's just to change the exe), further more all available translations are 1.0.0.

So nobody got anything out of it? I was no luck either ... it seems it works ONLY with Chinese PK 1.1, very specific.

PKME also works with skills (I don't know to which extent though), have anybody tried it out?

Ok, I give in, the language barrier is a huge problem.

I keep getting this message asking for me to input I don't know what (that I'm not interested in), I don't know where (I guess it's something on the 2nd tab ... )

I can't even write this right: 请正确填写兵种相克的伤害倌率 【0~5】!, that's as close as I could get :|

It's not a problem with version, it's a problem with the data entered (and I'm testing the default values, haven't touched on these things).

Also I've discovered that there's no english translation anywhere for the chinese version (the cao shang proposal is to replace the chinese exe for the japanese exe).

Too bad, seemed a wonderful tool. :(

Wow, this SAN11Sire i have just downloaded......


Will open up tonight, shall look what it can be done


My wish is simple,

1) to enable the weak forces to build up their force quickly & attack ( Just like Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Jian, Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shu, Yuan Shao, Lu Bu. Gongsun Zan, Zhang Jiao )

2) enable AL to be smarter

3) weak forces to research Technique Skill they like, not programmed by the game itself

I wish you luck. You really have no interest on making new skills, items or changing the cities development spaces? I would migrate to TC version if I could understand SIRE interface and do these things (it would add a lot of game value for me :lol: )

I forgot to mention that you can alternate SIRE interface language between Simplified and Traditional Chinese. But it have issues with Applocate. The manual speaks a bit about it and how to properly run it (I guess :roll: )

Well, at least now you know it exists and made an attempt :P
I think that the only place where you may get some help learning how to use it is ali213.

Ok, I gave up too.

In this case I highly recommend you to change your version to japanese by using Cao Shang's translation.
This will make your life much easier (as I said here)
