Guides To Making Images: In Chinese Language

Step 1: Download The Translated Head Editor ABOVE.

Step 2: Backup These files in each version you edit.
Note: It Isn't Required To Backup The Files (Use WinRAR to archive the file and compressing it will conserve some space, and keep it safe incase of mistakes, or if you want to revert it back to normal.
File 1 >> X: \ ### \ Media \ Face \ San11Face00.Fce
File 2 >> X: \ ### \ Media \ San11Res.Bin
File 3 >> X: \ ### \ Media \ San11PKRes.Bin
### = Directory Root, It could be San11 or RTKXI.
X = Drive Letter Game is Installed.

Step 3: Extract RTKXI Universal Face Editor.

STOP HERE: IF YOU WANT AN EASIER WAY OF DOING THIS LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE POST, YOU WILL FIND A YOUTUBE LINK, WATCH THE VIDEO.

Step 4: Launch San11Fac.exe & Select the directory where RTKXI.exe is.
Note: My directory is: D:\Program Files\Games\Koei\RTKXI\

Step 5: Once opened, you can either add head files to the Female TAB or the Additional Officers tab. We will skip the female Tab and explain additional officers tab because once you learn how to add to the additional officers tab you'll know how to add 30-50 to the female tab.

Step 6: In the bottom left corner it will say Young Portraits, click that and highlight Add Head File, than click "san11fac01.fce"

Step 7: Right click the large blue background on the left. And select Add Portrait(A), a black box will appear number 2200.

Step 8: Select the box and right click the big black box near the top right of the program. Select Open Image(O).

Step 9: Select a image you want, and than right click that image like you did that black box, and select Edit Highlighted Image(E).

Step 10: There are 2 boxes, one that will determine the portrait, and one that determines the smaller face, anything inside the boxes will show. So select them wisely. After save it and it will return you to the program. Now click Save Face To Slot(R).

Step 11: Right click the big image again and select Head Positioning, move the box to show what you want it show in the game. when your officer is talking. Than right click and select Head Positioning to get out of that window.

Step 12: Make sure the smaller faces are pointer outwards so left image is looking left and right is looking right. If they aren't Right click each one and flip them til they are looking outwards.

Step 13: Now right click the image on the left side in the blue background and select Critical Image(Z), you now can select any of the following or overwrite a existing one with a new one. Note: Every new portrait has 58 as the starter even for women. So make sure you change it, unless you want a guy image as your females critical lol..

Step 14: Now Your finished, just repeat the same steps, everything is basically self explained due to the new english translation, if you need any help please REPLY here or PM me. I'll make a better image or video guide in the future.

Thanks alot for the translations, i'll have to get a guide up here with altered images sometime, since i cant code lol. Image Guides will certainly help. I also have a guide on how to make these sort of faces inside adobe photoshop, and how to steal and alter other faces. When i install it later on this week, ill have to make them guides and make them a pdf, or just regular pictures lol. But you and me should share the faces we have, and make a megapack to release here. Also thanks alot, and what face editor do you use, since your buttons are a little different. And i do have some questions about the face editor, mind if i ask them over pm, or a instant messenger? Thanks again.

I sort of became lazy and will get around to things when i have time, or feel like it. Because i was planning on uploading over 900 faces into a rar on share sites, so people could use them. But im busy. Also i was going to create a easy to use picture guide for this lol. and a guide on how to make them in photoshop, now that will all have to wait. who knows how long. But if you mess around with both sites you can find a text guide to making them, and faces. the program is dead easy to use. and thats about it lol.

Well, the critical faces would need you to actually input over existing, and im not so sure how to do it...

You can click on the topics with the paperclip icon by them. that represents them using attachments, some topics dont use attachments, but if you go through all the topics, you find atleast 300 images. some really nice, some really odd, and some just suck lol. I'll try and upload a pack in like a week or 2. Sorry, im currently busy with other projects, and didnt thing this face one would be so huge lol. I have yet to get them all also...
