Also, the non puk patch for RTK10 that's at kongming doesn't seem to translate anything.. it actually seems to be the original exe. :|

The Chinese->English PUK patch for RTK11 is nearing a new release, including a fully translated executable file (which means all the commands, except those that use graphics to represent the text, are translated).

Nope. I can't even get my hands on the PUK version anymore. I used to have the CD, but it was destroyed in a move.

I have a weird idea, its seems RTK XI was released as PS2 English (though its hard to find, I think its out on the UK), I haven't looked at the dvd contents but I have seen in listed in torrent sites like mininova.org.

Here is my idea, why not read the contents of the PS2 english version and find the msg files and simply copy them over to the PC folder version???

In any case I have the Chinese version, and while I do know some rudimentary Chinese plus i have lots of Chinese language books it takes me hours to look up the characters and translate them.

with the Chinese-English patch I am getting some weird errors, like msg file Intelligable warnings. But I think that was in the tutorial.

Sorry, but it doesn't quite work that way. The PS2 version has entirely different encoding.
