This game very funny.

Zhang Jiao WAR is 25, his younger brother Zhang Bao WAR is 70.

When both merge into a unit, the WAR value dropped a lot.

Beside hex editing them to be sworn brothers to solve this problem, any other method for blood relative siblings, clans to have stats that could maintain or improve, when forming a unit ?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am using Wang Lang as ruler now. Created 2 officers

1st officer is my son, with WAR 72

2nd officer is my nephew, with WAR 64 ( Clan to me too, i edited it )

Both of them could not pair well with Wang Lang in a unit

If I recall correctly, adding a lieutentant with a relationship to you in the situations like you're describing will boost the unit's damage, but the boost is only 1/3 of the max, so will only make a difference if the gap between the officers is very large, and even then, it will not be remarkable. So you are better off making the target officer sworn siblings with someone with high War to be their lieutenant if that's your goal, as no one ever unlocked how to edit the actual game mechanics on the English boards.

Personally, I always preferred to have officers with relationships like that lead different units for the free assist attacks, since I valued those more than unit stats for any given unit.

ok zyzyfer,

Like what you mentioned....

I will get Wang Lang to sworn siblings with 2 other non-related officers......then let the other 2 related officers lead as seperate units

Since no one here able to modify the game mechanics

Years ago, I read a post from someone suggesting that it was possible. But I've never had it happen personally. Using a high-INT Timid officer the right way can lead to some pretty ugly energy drains deep deep deep into negative territory, but in my experience the other officer always gets to limp away. Now maybe Bold/Reckless personalities might be different since they are more aggressive...but due to the way their Furies work, they can't really do that big damage in "one hit" like you can with Timid/Cool.

So in short, I've never seen it happen.

Late necro, but...

Was reading the PDF file that came with the English version today -- I never had cracked it open because I thought it was the same as the instruction manual (it most certainly is not). But anyways, explaining how Debates work, it says this under the entry for Reckless officers when their fury bar is max:

Reckless
Your anger will explode, causing heavy damage to your opponent.
This attack can kill.

So...I guess it's possible, but that to me would run counter to the story of Zhuge Liang vs. Wang Lang, as in the game Zhuge is Cool like most officers of high INT.

Now to find a ruin or shrine at any of these locations you must meet these reqs. 10000 deeds, 80+ charisma and supposedly the third req is to support the Han. I find only the first two are needed. Army size doesn't matter. Finally, destroying the shrine or ruin after you find it has a chance to yield 5K+ gold, a random curse or last but not least the imperial seal.

Months: not 100% sure on all.

Jan. Not sure
Feb. Not sure
Mar. Bow
Apr. Not sure
May. War machine apt.
June. Chr
Jul. Navy
Aug. Int
Sep. Spear
Oct. Pol

I think November is pike and December is charisma like June. Again this is purely from memory and i'm doing this on my phone so don't keelz me pweeze if there are some mistakes. I do hope this helps.

Another necro, but I took the time to sit a guy near a Relic spot for a year and this is what the results were:

Jan. Cavalry
Feb. LDR
Mar. Bow
Apr. WAR
May. Weaponry
Jun. CHR
Jul. Naval
Aug. INT
Sep. Spear
Oct. POL
Nov. Pikes
Dec. CHR

Just from a quick look at those numbers, they are probably the Character's voice, tone, and aspiration/character settings on how they view the Emperor.

I might mess around with this and see if I can get a kill to trigger. I just hope it isn't related to getting damage overkill, because that can be a bit tricky to set up right if you are not using a Timid personality. Reckless debaters tend to be exactly that...reckless! My best bet to test it quickly is probably to make a created officer with Negotiator, 100 INT, and Reckless personality, and then go around requesting short ceasefires from Yuan Shu or Kong Rong or something in 194. I've done this before with Sun Qian/Jian Yong to train up their INT but they are both not Reckless, so nothing exciting ever happens.

But don't get your hopes up for me doing it anytime soon. I don't really have the time to game like I used to, and when I do I usually break out 13. So feel free to try it yourself if you need confirmation!

And yes...it does not really represent the Master Debater Zhuge Liang being able to outright kill fools with his words, haha.
