I've never seen the event take place, so I'm not sure what you need to do to trigger the event to make Yuan Shu Emperor.

I ever play as Wang Lang in Rival Warlord scenario (gave up halfway through), Yuan Shu declared Emperor on year 196, then other warlord became much more angry with him.

Several warlord attacked Yuan Shu & wiped Yuan Shu out

I cannot remember how the event was triggered

Valvatorez,

Another way is to play Imperial Rescue custom made scenario, which start on year 196, Yuan Shu is already Emperor

You can download the scenario file from my Singapore forum thread link

You may add more officers for Yuan Shu, to make him even stronger

Ah I don't even like Yuan Shu that much, so I'm not worried about the event really. I may just edit a RoH scenario that has all the emperors in it like Xian, Wei, Wu, Shu, Jin, and Yuan Shu and Shi Huangdi/Ying Zheng and see what happens. I just meant I never saw the event trigger before so wasn't sure how to do it.

i have one question to ask.

Those weaker officers (rulers) like Tao Qian, Kong Rong, Han Fu, Zhang Yang, Gongsun Du, Han Xuan, Zhao Fan, Liu Du etc etc etc.

If we change their Strategic Tendency in Aspiration hexvalue, to Unify China....will they become aggressive ?

I just wiped out Liu Biao force (at Shang Yong city) & captured Cao Cao Chen Liu city

Once again, forces did not ceasefire, did not merge force to attack me

I am ruler Fa Zheng, replaced Wang Lang

Ah nice. About the rulers, I used the randomizer quite a lot, that changes their tendencies, and noticed forces in those cities and using those rulers do a lot better, so you should be able to change it to make them more aggressive but they need more troops or better officers to actually stand a chance, since they always get wiped out by better forces.

valvatorez,

You sure the weaker rulers will become more aggressive, after changing their Strategic Tendency to Unify China, Ambition to Very High ?

Because i read from gamers here, that changing these 2 will not work, bcos of the game main mechanics settings

Can you verify ?

They can be a little better changing things around, but they do need better officers and more troops and possibly a different starting city, that's what I meant. If you leave them as they are with only changing tendency, they still won't do much of anything. I meant the randomizer program changes so much that sometimes those rulers do better in general because they don't have the same problems they normally would if you didn't randomize it.
