Glad to hear that changing the date worked, if the event still happens anyways, you may have to try moving the time ahead until Jan 201.

Yes, i adjusted back to 1st Dec 200......but on Jan 201 it still triggered the ceasefire event.

Therefore once again I moved the date ahead, to Jan 201.......It doesn't trigger any event anymore


Anyway, Sun Lang (Sun Jian & Wu Guotai) son suppose to join my force on Jan 201. But after i edited the date, he doesn't join my force.


He is still "underage" on the hex info ( 06 value )

my next scenario Imperial Rescue, i will play Xu Shu in Hui Ji city

All other forces who are allied, i will leave it as it is

However i have removed all their technique skill


I have also added several PS2 PUK hidden officers into the scenario file


Qin Lang has a mother now, she is Du Shi. I have also Qin Lang generation value to 2

hi all, for those who added Du Shi into the scenario file, please change her generation value from 0 to 1, she is the 1st generation clan, her son Qin Lang is the 2nd generation


Thern change Qin Lang generation value from 1 to 2 too

Ah yeah sorry, you'd have to manually add him to your force, because you changed the year, the year end event/season change never took place, so he'd probably have to wait another full year before joining, if he joined at all. Like I said, I never tried changing the date in my own save game, I only changed dates before the scenario starts, so changing it may mess up some other stuff like what you mentioned.

Honestly, I don't like that whole event where forces join together, but usually I play the game and expand slowly so I don't really leave cities weakened and expect to have to fight off everyone anyways, so I can live with the event if there's no way to get rid of it.

Yeah, have to add Sun Lang into my force manually.

Yeah, changing dates will mess the game season, but I don't care anymore

After the recent problem we faced, actually i think back.

Fighting with force merge is better than forces ceasefire to attack us


Force merge

- officers loyalty value will become 255

- force become stronger too

- at least only that merged particular force will attack you, rather than several forces ceasefire to attack you

- the merged force Technique Skill points will not gain as much as ceasefire forces

- force merge depends on forces diplomatic relationship




what else could we think of ????

Is the loyalty really 255? I wouldn't think it would be that high, did you check? I think spouses or liked officers of a ruler get like 70-ish and 96 for spouses in hex, I never checked the value after the force combine, but I thought it could be similar to one of those, since eventually after a year or 2, the loyalty for those officers on the combined forces begins to drop again, so if it was 255, it would take much longer to drop yeah?

I think you listed most or all of what happens, do they get more weapons as well? I never really paid too much attention, since I was more concerned with taking them out for joining up, usually I will leave an AI force alone until they attack me, once I see a force combine, I usually go right after them to take them out without waiting.

1) Yes, once a force merge into another force, all the officers in the merged force will have it loyalty increased to 255

Next time if you have this event triggered, use the game editor to view it's officer loyalty value

2) Of course there are officers whose loyalty will slowly decrease over time.

3) Yes, it takes very long time for officers loyalty to drop till 100 & below.....

4) The fastest way to lower their loyalty is to keep spreading rumour to their cities...

5) I know when force merge, the force will gain a lot of Technique Skill points.

6) I do not know about the arnaments & weaponry quantity

7) When a merged force trigger, best is to quickly wipe the force out, so that you can then employ the officers
