Perhaps load up the game after you have reached a comfortable point in translation and observe the lines and where they break. With a list compiled, and some knowledge of where you run out of space, you could probably clean up a pretty nice portion of them.
Hmm... also, it is a monospace font to match up with the even spacing of Chinese characters, yes? This allows you to determine the exact amount of characters allowed on a single screen (adjusted for the variables such as gold quantities) and this, with a plain text editor, might allow you to anticipate text placement without even having to witness the dialogue in the game?
Even having the English translation is awesome, really. It is just fun to imagine how this might be done. I have no experience hacking the language of these games myself, though.
