Looking for Essay Ideas.

Hello all, taking a stab in the dark here looking for some help-I am a freshman at university and for my world civilization class it was required to read Romance of Three Kingdoms. The accompanying assignment is a 5 page paper using themes found in the Romance of Three Kingdoms (can be any theme or sub topic found in the romance applicable to China in the time period 200b.c-200.ca), and comparing/contrasting that theme/themes with ANY other civilization or people in that same period. Having read the Romance of Three Kingdoms and digested it a bit, i'm shooting blanks trying to come up with a thesis that fits the assignment. Any ideas would be great, and at least get me brain storming.

Yeah careful on these, because there are huge sections of post book notes devoted to these subjects, so don't quote too many people.(i assume this is the Moss roberts translated version/)
