On February 26th, the 2004-2005 game of SimRTK came to an end, with
Kymvir Raemiz being declared the winner. Since then, the staff has been
busily working on the rules to bring you an even better version of
SimRTK, in what will be its 8th incarnation since it began in 2001.

We are pleased to announce that ruler signups will open Thurs, Mar. 24
and continue until Mon, Mar. 28th. Bandit and pirate group signups will
also be during this time. After rulers have been selected, we will
begin player signups, and then begin the first civil phase of the game on
Friday, April 1st. Another email will be sent out when player signups
begin.

We look forward to seeing you in SimRTK!

Greetings everyone,

As of a few hours ago, Sign-Up for SimRTK has opened once more for all players, and in a few more days, the game will also hopefully start once more in its latest installment. In what promises to be an even better game than before, we have also now broken the 4000 member mark as of today, and also the most users online at any one time record today. Now is the time to make your own character before the game starts, and to also sort out any details so that you may enjoy the game fully once it has started. With a new sign up system having been devised, we hope that we shall see more of you there soon.

It'd be better to ask there (they're mostly a separate entity that's hosted on this site, so the people here aren't in charge of there, with the exception of James), however, from my best guess, I'd say they will be starting sometime this year. If they ever manage to get the next version of the game running. If. :/

They are working on the next version of the game.

It is a major revision. A lot of work has been done, and some work still remains.

It's been taking a lot longer than that already. There is no ETA at the moment.

I only started really working on it a few days ago. As I mentioned earlier it was an idea which wouldn't get to take off until sometime in the middle of last month or later. It is still far too early in development, though, to give an ETA. :)
