I’m thinking about adding some basic forts like those found on the original map I’m using. But these will generally be the great wall cities such as those near Han Zhong, Chang’an, Luo Yang. Either they will simply hurt the attacker, or it will actually be possible to station troops there.

In a major upgrade down the road I may take matters even further.

Fear not, though. I imagine features will complicate it a little with time.

Personally I think officers would be a better eventual complication than fortresses. What I'm thinking is, maybe you could just make each officer like a really overpowered unit...or something. Of course some would be less overpowered. Pei Yuanshao would possibly just be the equivalent of a cavalry unit; he'd only have very slightly better stats than one.

I'll be in if it gets done. Can I have Wu or Bei Ping? I like the idea of having officers as simply over powered officers. Maybe something simular to the Medevil Total war games. Just a thought though.

I dont know what cities have been nicked so far, but I dont really care where I start, just as long as I get to play! :wink:

It is on hold, for the time being, in favor of more general content. :)
