I would suggest its a region thing but its not happening to me so I do not know!!
If becoming enlightened or an intellectual means I must become arrogant and coldly cynical about the world around me then I'd gladly remain a fool for the rest of my life!!

I was thinking the same thing. I haven't been having an issue. Maybe the forum had a falling out with Wales?

Also, how long has it been happening?

I've noticed a sporadic 'lag' in loading times for about a week, James - it occurs maybe, once every two visits?
Then the error messages started appearing as well, over the last 2 or 3 days like Finny said.

It seems localised, whatever it is...could be sheep involved, this IS Wales after all.

If anyone encounters it, it would help to know when it is taking place so a possible pattern could be observed. And if the problem persists maybe there are a few things we can do to nail the issue down. :)

The DNS thing happened to me for several days, but I fixed it by clearing my browser data.

Ditto.

It didn't resolve the loading time 'lag' though...

Not a Welsh thing, back in Essex at the moment!

Who's your broadband provider, Finbo?

Mine's TalkTalk, via a BT Openreach hard line connection naturally...funny thing is, my broadband speed is always fast, even during peak times, and I never experience this lagging even with multiple tabs open.

EE (orange/t-mobile as was) but it's not great at the best of times!

Sometimes these problems can be tricky to nail down. It is possible that it's some problem along the way to the server that might only impact certain regions. But the SQL error reported on the site suggests a very different story. I haven't run into the lag yet, but I check every once and a while.
