Drools..........

I hope this game will come out in NA eventhough I might not buy it. I am saving for GTA, DWT, Suikoden III, and many others. I would only play Lu Bu's Musou anyways.
"Woe unto you, ye souls depraved
Hope nevermore to look upon the heavens;
I come to lead you to the other shore,
To the eternal shades in heat and frost.
And thou, that yonder standest, living soul,
Withdraw thee from these people, the dead"

Koei

Unread postby Boushin Dragonfly » Tue Aug 27, 2002 6:55 pm

If Koei chooses not to give the US DW3: Fierce Warriors, they will be losing out on a lot of revenue.

If my memory serves, Dynasty Warriors 3 is quite the smash hit over here, and is probably still selling loads of copies to this day. Granted, we'll all be buying DW4 when it comes out, as well as Dynasty Tactics, but I really think that Koei will only lose money if they don't bring FW over.

Also, I wanted to make a point. Koei's DW series has sold well without on-air commercial assistance. I wonder why most game companies never even advertise their games like this?

Dynasty Tactics, I believe, is just like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, meaning the RTS type game play. If search for it on any search engine, stuff will come up. But for straight up info and pics, visit www.kongming.net, or my section on my website The Hall of Warriors.
The section is on the side bar. Hope this helps.

It is more like Final Fantasy Tactics I think. Except it is to be more action oriented.
I suppose I should put something here, shouldn't I?

You command each unit, on a grid, (smaller than RTK) and preform attacks, magic etc. It will be better towards action though.

FF Tactics

Unread postby Boushin Dragonfly » Tue Aug 27, 2002 11:02 pm

Final Fantasy Tactics (FFT) is a turn-based RPG slash Strategy sim where you control an "army" of up to five units plus NPCs ("Guests") on a grid system. Each unit can be a specific Job (read: Class) with different abilities.

For example, I have a monk named Zhou. Being a Monk, he has some nifty skills, and attacks solely with a fist, two fists if I give him the ability to. But he has to have learned this ability in that Job.
Weapons are the instruments of misfortune and should be resorted to only when unavoidable.
