Handheld Dynasty Warriors Discussion

KOEI seems to have put a big show at E3 this year, among their announcements were two DW games on the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS.

Will this game work on a handheld console?

I don't think it will. The Pace and Vastness of DW lends itself to a TV, where you can get a better view of whats going on.

Ah yes but a two player link game perhaps too if they chose to put that ability in, frankly I cant get wnough of Dynasty Warriors and if you give me the chance to pocket a version and have a blast during my breaks at work, I'm in for that.

I used to play DW on a 13 inch tv anyway, and the five inch screen sony will be offering on the PSP will probably have better resolution than that old tv anyway.

I looked at a DW trailer for the PSP, and it was just the opening for DW4. Now I'm all confused. For a moment, I thought I was looking at 2003's footage, but it says 2004 on the media.

You're not crazy that game is refered to as Dynasty Warriors for the PSP and the CG segments may seem like DW4 but the gameplay (from what I could see) looks more basic hack and slash again.

i think it wont be as good, but will still be cool. just like all handheld versions of console games

I think due to the smaller memory the game will more resemble #3 or 2 but since the PSP is looking promising i hope that it will be more like Samurai warriors gameplay-wise and even better than number 4.Also would also be a great marketing scheme becuase everyone in this forum would be a PSP .

So thats what the PSP can do, very powerfull but I would like to see DW on the DS before I make any judgements. Does anyone know of a DW trailer on the DS?
