Ah. So DW is coming out for the DS. I must tell my friend about it. He has a DS and likes DW thanks to me. I'm sure he'll be happy about this one.

Keep us posted, guys.

I have played DW on the PSP and I can say it's looking great and going very smooth. [^.^]

I'll choose the PSP over the DS anyday. It's much better.

[EDIT]Just thought I'll add more.

  • Character designs based on DW4.
  • You can't change costumes.
  • I haven't found how to get the life bar of the enemies up yet. Maybe they disabled this.
  • You still get [weapon?]EXP for defeating officers. Lvl[of weapon?] determines the combos you can make.
  • Normal peons can freeze you with an ice orb :|
  • I'm not sure if the character can use orbs. There ain't an "Equip" screen anymore.
  • In one stage, you get a map. However, the map is divided into sections and the PSP loads one section at a time. Once you cleared a section, you can move on to the next.
  • There are stats like attack, defense and...[I forgot..>.<]
  • You can have supporting officers that add to your stats.
  • There is still morale.

That's all for now. =)

So looking back, how successful do you think portable Dynasty Warriors has been?

Is there a version of Dynasty Warriors for the DS that's out. I would probably get it. I love my Nintendo DS dearly...

I used the Dynasty Warriors game on my PSP a long time ago when it came out. I didn't find it as fun though, it was a different playing style. Although, they had to seperate areas in the way that they did so that it wouldn't get even more laggy, tracking the movements of all the enemy in each area as opposed to one. But I haven't played it in a while so I don't know. Although I haven't played a lot of handheld games in a long time.

the tile thing was one of the best things they ever did to dynasty warriors it added lots of strategy to the game where not only your strength will win

ok not in the first one they kinda messed that up

but in the second one well i would say its one of the best dynasty warriors koei ever made cause it actually did require strategy you had to plan even on easy mode
im back

again
