I love it and the new weapons for Pang De and Xu Huang are great too use. I'm glad to play as Guo Jia and Wang Yi finally as I didn't buy Xtreme Legends. Good to see Wei get some new characters, though I dislike Guo Jia's look.
I've a brave warrior in my army. Shen Ai is his name, and he can slay this Hua Xiong.

Wei has no more famous commanders, Shen Ai takes lead of the vanguard!

Even a commoner on the street knows what Shen Ai is thinking!

I think I played the DS version, I don't really remember it that well.

Now I have both the PSP versions, which are pretty fun. Conquering the area sometimes goes by too fast, and I can't steer the horse. Most of the time I play as Yue Ying.

Hows the Story mode in DW Next? I saw some trailer and their movies/cutscenes seem to be different from DW7.

Story mode is pretty non-offensive... I know that doesn't tell you much. I haven't played more than a couple battles in DW7 so I can't really compare.

The gameplay is surprisingly OK except for the fucking touch screen duels. There are also a couple trophies/equipment that are impossible to get without 3 local friends, so that's pretty lame... they should have included online multiplayer.

I actually enjoy the touch screen duels. It really matters who you choose. For my 2nd battle with Zhang He, I chose to use Jia Xu and kept getting my behind handed to me (Jia Xu does decent crowd control but his damage output is embarrassing). So I switched to Xiahou Dun (yeah, I had to start the level over) and won easily.

Reading about the new Nintendo Switch portable system makes me wonder if a DW game might make it onto that consule, the bigger screen and graphics might make it a memorable addition to the Switch.
