Most definitely gameplay. The style of the gameplay is what first got me hooked to the series. It's a pleasant change from the games you see of today, and the style of the fighting complements the idea of the three kingdoms perfectly.

The gameplay. I also like the fact on how the game is based on RoTK (a bit loosely), which adds to the liking that history can be fun. The sound and music is also unique, though it doesn't sound like we are playing back in Ancient China at all.

I like Dynasty Warriors because of it's characters and the story. The gameplay is good and it not too complicated which also make it a good game to play.

I didn't even know about DWs until someone told me at my local EB store to get and try it. I am so glad he talked me into getting it. From the moment i saw the opening trailer i was hooked. I loved it. I played it up until the very day DW3 came out (was almost a whole year). I love the game play, graphics, story, warriors, everything. And being able to build up your warriors made it even better. Then I found out that it was roughly based on real life events and stuff, hooked me even more. I thought it was so cool how they made a game like that based on historical events. DWs is now a game that is almost always in my PS2. It's one of my favorite series. Another thing is how they made it into a free roaming, stage, fighting game with hordes of guys to kill. An amazing game and it just keeps getting better. DW4 is gonna do it all over again.

i love the gameplay because it brings me back to the days of capcoms all mighty universal beatemup arcade games... it seemed to have the handicap level of tmnt at normal and i like that.... when the game is overly hard to win, but still a challenge that you wont finish with your fingernails cut off...
