Pretty funky stuff there Sun Gongli for your cosplay. Don't forget to take plenty of pics to share with us.

Glad you like it, FuguNabe. Still a long ways to go, but certainly better than the "under $20" Sun Ce cosplay I pulled a few years ago.

The tonfas were made out of pipe foam then.

Sun Gongli, have you cannibalised the shirt yet?

If your sewing is good you might try to remove the sleeves very carefully at the seams, and then just reattach them when you're done. Probably way more comfortable than trying to wear it with the sleeves inside.

And if you want to keep the shirt the way it is after the cosplay, you might want to use fabric paint on other bits of fabric, then sew the bits onto the shirt, rather than painting directly onto the shirt.

Speaking of fabric, I feel sorry for anyone who tries to cosplay Dong Zhuo!

Gabriel: Don't worry. Most of the DW characters don't look remotely East Asian anyway. ;)

^ It would take a very manly man to wear Dong Zhuo's clothes indeed. :P

Most anime characters don't either... but to each his, or her, own.

I love cosplay. I always wanted the DW3 Lu Xun costume.

To Sun Gongli: I don't suppose you know of any sites that sell cosplay pertaining to DWs? I know you've made yours, but sewing is not really my thing =/

When it comes to the weapons and the hair, I can be Sun Ce; I actually own a pair of tonfa that resemble his 1st DW weapon.
