Age her up or age him down. Could work either way effectively if they intend on adding her.
I've a brave warrior in my army. Shen Ai is his name, and he can slay this Hua Xiong.

Wei has no more famous commanders, Shen Ai takes lead of the vanguard!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if someone is active for a decent amount of time, give them multiple faces to reflect the changes. Guan Yu's not going to look the same in 219 that he did in 184!

184: Young Liu Bei
208: Older Liu Bei, young Zhuge Liang
228: Older Zhuge Liang, young Deng Ai
263: Old Deng Ai

And so on.
Unless I specifically say otherwise, assume I am talking about historical Three Kingdoms, and not the novel.

More women definitely I ant a proper mother daughter relationship in this game!! I do not need bikini armor, lets be real who does, and preferable a female who can hold large weapons, like Yinping's weapon phases through the ground when she runs because she is ridiculously tiny for no reason!! "More muscle" need to have some muscle to very well have more!!

Call me sexist, but female officer really kills the game for me. It just wiped out whatever realism left from the game. The last time I played DW (years ago), using (Zhang) Xing Cai, it made me feel so awkward. A little loli girl with a pitch voice and a pitch fork beating up Xiahou Yuan and Zhang He, felt so unreal. I can't take the game seriously when there's a loli tearing through heroic figures of ancient China >.<

If you ask me, bikini armor sells a lot more than any other in-game gimmicks, it's not even a gimmick anymore. It's basically a requirement now. I can't even name a single action game that does not have bikini armor. Well, probably Valkyrie Profile.

But see, Dynasty Warriors was never meant to be realistic or accurate, otherwise Diao Chan and Sun Shang Xiang would never have been put in the first game to begin with!! We have to remember thee games are about fun and fantasy, because nothing in the game is realistic!!

A little loli girl with a pitch voice and a pitch fork beating up Xiahou Yuan and Zhang He, felt so unreal. I can't take the game seriously when there's a loli tearing through heroic figures of ancient China

Honestly I like a fine balance of characters!! It would be so boring for me to have a hundred gruff men fighting, where's the diversity in that?? This follows on my previous thought, its fun and fantasy, its not an historical depiction, its a fantastical retelling of a book based on historical events!!

Of course, on the point of Diversity, when I herd Guan Yu's strong, STRONG daughter was going to be in the game, I was hoping for a bigger female in terms of physical strength and such!! I dislike that she s so short and tiny that her massive weapon phases into the ground when she runs!! But this is a point in the diversity of females, either a petite boyish frame or a curvy breasticle-laden frame seem to be the only models they use, which is very sad!!

Of course, if this game is not fun for you, there are other more historical games that would probably suit your taste more.

If you ask me, bikini armor sells a lot more than any other in-game gimmicks, it's not even a gimmick anymore. It's basically a requirement now. I can't even name a single action game that does not have bikini armor. Well, probably Valkyrie Profile.

The fact that it is a requirement is paramount pathetic because it's not even shying away from the fact that game developers are using sexualised versions of the female form just to make money. As a woman it offends me greatly that women and the female form is used in this way in a situation outside of pornography. It is the fact that the sexualization or ties depended on men that annoy feminists so much. Bikini Bras are not a requirement in a game as you can play quite easily in different outfits. We women cry out for proper characters/representation and instead are given things that are created to satisfy shallow urges or characters that depend on their love for the male characters in game.

Sorry I hate bikini bras, as an avid gamer they annoy me.

Dynasty Warriors isn't much for uniquely designed women. Even the most unique of them, Da Ji, ends up with the stripper armour. Wanna take bets that Lady Bian and Lady Wu will be attractive, and at the most, slightly older than usual looking women? I don't expect the elderly Lady Wu that seems to command popular fiction, nor the frugal and authoritative Lady Bian. In terms of appearance, Koei will follow the same old pattern of highly attractive women. At least however, they'll be well clothed. I can't imagine Koei will have these proud ladies, mothers, and wives dress skimpily.

As for Guan Yinping, she receives a lot of praise, but then again so does Bao Sanniang from fans. So I don't know how seriously I should take that.

Xing Cai and Yue Ying are good though. Always liked Xing Cai, and Yue Ying has really stepped up as a character since Dynasty Warriors 7 and it carried into Dynasty Warriors 8 (she and Zhuge Liang could, you know, stand to talk more though). She always presents a difficult challenge in the game as well, since she's always followed by her war machines.

And Wang Yi was certainly a step in the right direction. If they ever bring back fictional story modes for each character, I hope Wang Yi gets one, because that'd be a fun stage to play.

Remember, Da Ji was mainly know for her effect on the infatuated emperor of Shang, so it';s only natural she had a stripperlike look.

It's the same reason why Yue Ying (who supposedly was highly intelligent but unattractive) originally showed very little skin.

Believe it or not, I hate bikini armor not because it sexualizes women.
I hate it it because it looks stupid and completely unrealistic for a battlefield setting.

I am a woman. I wear girl shirts and short pants from time to time, most of the time for no reason other than basking on all attention on me. But that kind of clothing does not give you any benefit in open war, in fact it makes you weaker and prone to physical injuries. IT-DOES-NOT-MAKE-SENSE. Anything that defy logic annoys me greatly. I could even stomach stripper cosplay on ninjas/spies character. But definitely not on someone who's charging into the enemy's line. Sex sells, I get it. But I will never take it as an excuse for nonsensical design.

I know one can make an attractive adult females with a proper functional battle armor for females if s/he tries. Hildegard von Krone is an examples on this. Also some girls from Valkyrie Profile like Tyrith, Celes, and Jayle also has a legit design for a female warrior. As well as Aelia and Richelle, had they not forget their pants. Why would someone go into a battle field in full heavy armor then just decide to not to wear pants?

Eh, I think it works rather counter productively then, because Yue Ying has always been one of the prettier characters for me personally.
