At least it wasn't as bad as Zhou Yu's one was. (in 3)

Nobody who has ever heard that line is going to forget that infamous "This victory shall belong to Wu!!!" line.

Personally, I thought all of the DW3 voices were good. Actually, I might have posted before, but it's gone 4am…(Namco's fault for changing certain moves on Tekken 5).

They need to bring back Michelle Ruff for Sun Shang Xiang and Zhen Ji!! Wendee Lee can play strong females instead of squeaky Qiaos she's been playing!!

I preferred Steve Blum as Sun Jian rather than George Grant!! Yuri Lowenthal plays a good Sun Ce!!

I think DW6 Zhang He's voice was utterly wonderful. It wasn't camp or kitschy in my opinion- it was flamboyant and even arrogant.

Oh and he talks like one of my old conductors so that's a plus.

DW6 - Zhang Liao, Guan Yu, Guan Ping, Sun Jian, Sun Ce and Lu Bu were most awesome!

DW5 - Zhao Yun, Zhou Yu, Zhuo Tai and Zhuge Liang!

Cao Pi in 5 was good, Cao Cao and Cao Ren always have good voices. Jiang Wei takes it for worst.
I've a brave warrior in my army. Shen Ai is his name, and he can slay this Hua Xiong.

Wei has no more famous commanders, Shen Ai takes lead of the vanguard!

Even a commoner on the street knows what Shen Ai is thinking!

Hmm, DW3 had some pretty comical lines but it also had a few good line deliveries... okay maybe not, I can't think of any half decent line deliveries except Xiahou Dun and a very comical line from Yuan Shao in DW3 XL about Zhang He not "thinking straight". That got a few laughs from my friends and I back in the day.

Actually the best VA in DW3 may surprisingly come from Li Ru in XL. He was given a very deep cruel sounding voice that made me stop for a moment on why a generic was being given this awesome sounding voice. Zhang Jiao in XL was also really good, despite it being the same VA as "Useless! Useless! Ahahahah!" from DW3.

DW4 was fantastic in VA. I cannot think of one voice that I disliked or grated on me in any sense. Realizing that Lu Bu and Liu Bei had the same VA was pretty funny though.

DW5's talent array was also stand out, Cao Cao got the VA that's he's had since 5 distinctive returns are also Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan, Yuan Shao, Meng Huo, Dong Zhuo, Zhao Yun, and Zhuge Liang. Yuan Shao as a character in five was at his strongest where he even had special lines for Zhao Yun when he met him on the battlefield. I suppose the new voice of Yuan Shao works for his new look, but I still desperately want the old Yuan Shao back in voice.

It's been consistently pretty good aside from a few odd choices like replacing Sun Shang Xiang's old VA for another and losing Liu Bei's VA for the younger fellow to fit the character more.
