I am also a die hard Shuist. They are a rare species these days. Always being overrun by Weist and those despicable Wuists. :D

But my favorite character is Wei Yan. Awesome weapon, great musou, and gotta love the mask.

I'm just curious to know why you left out Jiang Wei. Was it because he was formerly a Wei officer?

Because Jiang Wei wasn't on the poll, I voted for Zhao Yun. Great range and balanced stats make him a pretty good character. I tend to favor characters with pole arms more than those with swords. That means that I would go with Guan Yu over Liu Bei.

This isn't even close. Zhao Yun is the only Shu character I play, at least until I get Jiang Wei. Power, range, musou, speed, Zhao Yun is almost too good. After Jiang Wei at #2, it definitely falls off for Shu at least.

I fixed the poll options.

My fave Shu character to play, so far (because I haven't played them all yet), is either Liu Bei or Ma Chao. Liu Bei's moves are pretty good, and he's a good all-round character. Ma Chao has that monstrously powerful mounted charge that makes everything a piece of cake, but I don't care too much for his non-mounted moves (except his very cool musou).

I vote Guan Yu...he was a loyal and honorable man. Plus he is tough to beat on the game. I have fallen to his blade many a time and devistated enemy ranks using him.
If you must tell of loyalty

His courage mounted to the skies
When down below was none
He struck at Dong Zhuo in the court
His fame is with us still
Forever and ever he's won the name
Of a man of iron will.

Liu Bei. Even though I'm a Weist, I'm always partial to a sword wielder. It will probably change to Guan Ping though once DW5 hits Western shores.
